St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida is recruiting an experienced nursing leader to serve as Director of Nursing for its Emergency Department. This is a full-time, day-shift administrative and clinical leadership role at a 420-bed Level I Trauma Center that also holds designation as a state-certified Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and home to the only dedicated children's hospital between Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. The right candidate will oversee patient care services, emergency management program compliance, and team development within one of Palm Beach County's most comprehensive acute care environments.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida required
  • Bachelor's degree minimum required; advanced degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare management experience and 2 years of clinical experience in a related specialty
  • BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
  • ACLS and PALS certification through the American Heart Association required
  • CPI certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 180 days of hire
  • NIH Stroke certification required within 60 days of hire
