Practice Highlights

  • Clinical scope requires proficiency in at least two of the following: Cardiac Rehabilitation, Dobutamine Stress Tests, CT, MRI, Transesophageal Echocardiograms/Cardioversions, and Vascular Access insertions
  • RN plans, administers, and evaluates patient care across the Cardiac Rehabilitation unit, Imaging department, Echo Laboratory, and Vascular Access team
  • Practice governed by ACC and Joint Commission standards alongside applicable regulatory agency requirements
  • Care delivery framework incorporates safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control protocols
  • Goal-oriented discharge planning to return patients to prior care units at optimum functional status

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida required
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Proficiency in at least two of the designated cardiac/imaging/vascular access modalities required to qualify
  • Preferred background in stepdown, critical care, PACU, or a dedicated Vascular Access team
  • Thorough knowledge of cardiac and critical care nursing principles expected
