<p>Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, California is recruiting a full-time Advanced Radiology Technologist to join its Medical Imaging Department, serving inpatients, outpatients, the emergency department, operating suites, and the continuing care center across a multi-modality environment. This is a 12-hour day shift role (7:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.) with cross-trained scope spanning general radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and DEXA — making it an ideal position for an experienced tech who wants clinical breadth and a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000. <h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-time, 12-hour day shifts (7:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.) at Hi-Desert Medical Center, Joshua Tree, CA</li> <li>Multi-modality scope: general diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and DEXA scanning</li> <li>Services extend across inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, hospital operating suites, and the continuing care center (CCC)</li> <li>Patient population spans all age groups — neonatal through geriatric — including pediatric and general adult populations</li> <li>Rotational standby call at least once per week, scheduled by department need</li> <li>PACS-integrated workflow with full RIS and EHR documentation requirements; timely image presentation to radiologists is a core function</li> <li>Works under supervision of the Radiologist and Department Management Team; participates in student and ancillary personnel training</li> <li>Active participation in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities</li> <li>Part of Desert Care Network — a regional system encompassing Desert Regional Medical Center (Palm Springs), JFK Memorial Hospital (Indio), and Hi-Desert Medical Center (Joshua Tree), with comprehensive stroke care, a cancer center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and the only Level 3 NICU in the Coachella Valley</li> <li>Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulatory compliance standards maintained throughout</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program (college-affiliated or hospital-based)</li> <li>Current California CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certification required</li> <li>Current California Fluoroscopy license required</li> <li>Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification required; ARRT certification in CT and/or MRI strongly preferred</li> <li>Minimum three (3) years of continuous experience as a Radiologic Technologist required; three or more years of continuous CT and/or MRI experience preferred</li> <li>Demonstrated experience performing CT and/or MRI exams required; DEXA scan competency preferred</li> <li>Current American Heart Association BLS certification required</li> <li>Proficiency with RIS, EHR, and PACS systems; basic computer skills required</li> </ul>
