Practice Highlights
- Performs basic through complex diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures under minimal supervision, as ordered by licensed physicians
- Procedural scope includes fluoroscopy, arthrography, myelography, urography, open reductions, placements, and trauma imaging
- Active OR rotation — assists practitioners with intraoperative fluoroscopy and surgical imaging support
- Rotates through advanced diagnostic radiology areas, providing broad cross-training and subspecialty exposure
- Responsible for patient assessment, imaging equipment operation, exam room preparation, and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications
- Serves a regional patient population in the Rio Grande Valley — a high-volume, medically underserved catchment area with significant clinical acuity and diversity

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program required; Associate degree preferred
- ARRT (R) certification required; Vascular Interventional (VI) or Cardiac Interventional (CI) credential preferred
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Active Texas state imaging license, if required by state regulation
- 2–5 years of diagnostic X-ray experience required
- 1–3 years of dedicated IR experience preferred
