Practice Highlights
- Full-time, day-shift position in an Interventional Radiology unit at a regional acute care medical center
- Direct clinical patient care role with per-shift responsibility for assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized nursing care
- Accountable for coordination and integration of patient care across the nursing process within a procedurally intensive, image-guided environment
- Responsible for safe and timely medication administration in accordance with hospital policy
- Supervises and delegates care to appropriate support staff on the unit
- Supports the CNO in maintaining high-quality, safe nursing care and appropriate resource management
- Adheres to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control
- Participates in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergency and disaster situations

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current Texas RN licensure required (or eligibility to obtain)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
- Recent acute care experience preferred; procedural or IR nursing background is a strong asset
