Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
- No prior experience required; two years of acute care experience preferred — specifically med/surg, telemetry, or ICU background
- Active Healthcare Provider BLS certification (ARC or AHA) required on hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days if not already AHA-issued
- AHA ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer into the Telemetry role; should be completed before the end of the orientation period
