Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
  • No prior experience required; two or more years in acute care preferred, with prior clinical experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU particularly valued
  • Active Healthcare Provider BLS certification (ARC or AHA) required on hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire if not already AHA-credentialed
  • AHA ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer into the Telemetry role; completion before the end of the orientation period is strongly encouraged
  • E-Verify participation required; employment eligibility verification conducted at time of hire
