<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or a related advanced degree preferred</li> <li>Minimum one year of experience in an equivalent unit required; four or more years preferred</li> <li>Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required</li> <li>National Specialty Certification preferred</li> <li>Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire</li> <li>ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., Fetal Monitoring, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention required depending on department assignment — see applicable Staff RN job description for grace periods</li> </ul>
