This is a frontline leadership position with direct responsibility for shift operations, staffing, patient care quality, and team development in a brand-new, fully equipped community hospital serving one of the fastest-growing corridors in the Carolinas. - Clinical Supervisor leads continuous safe shift operations in collaboration with the ED Director, covering patient care, staffing, and fiscal accountability
- Responsible for shift assignments, priority-setting, and real-time delegation as census and acuity fluctuate
- Leads crisis response with confidence — delegates appropriately and maintains unit stability during emergencies and unplanned staffing changes
- Drives unit-based quality monitoring: develops and implements performance improvement monitors and reports
- Supports ongoing staff education by identifying learning needs and facilitating development of nursing personnel
- Additional hospital service lines on campus: Intensive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical Unit, and comprehensive Women's Care including The Nest — a dedicated labor and delivery suite
- Shift duties include chart checks, defibrillator and refrigerator log oversight, abnormal lab follow-up, supply management, and room readiness
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required at minimum
- Valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from state of residence required; candidates holding a compact-state RN license from another state must obtain a Multi-State license from their state of residence within 30 days of hire
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire if not already held
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within the orientation period
- Additional unit-specific certifications required within the orientation period (determined at time of placement)
- 2–3 years of acute care or comparable clinical experience with demonstrated leadership ability preferred
