<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred</li> <li>Active Texas State Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of hire</li> <li>No prior experience required for Med-Surg placement; 2 years of acute care experience preferred</li> <li>Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (American Red Cross or AHA accepted); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire</li> <li>For Behavioral Health assignments: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into the department</li> <li>Dialysis track requires a minimum of 1 year acute or chronic dialysis experience; 2 years preferred</li> </ul>
