A full-time, day-shift Interventional Radiology Technologist opportunity is open at a large health system facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This Interventional/Vascular Radiology position offers a structured Monday–Friday schedule, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, and the chance to work across the full spectrum of IR procedures for patients of all ages in a community-centered acute care environment. Technologists here also serve as clinical instructors for radiologic technology students, adding a meaningful teaching dimension to daily practice.

Practice Highlights

  • Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM core schedule with predictable daytime hours
  • Call requirement: at minimum one week per month; night and weekend call also required
  • Scope of practice covers interventional radiographic examinations across all patient age groups
  • Responsibilities include patient condition assessment, imaging equipment operation, and proficiency in PACS for image management and review
  • Technologists prepare examination rooms and maintain equipment, supplies, and medications to departmental standards
  • Patient recordkeeping and active participation in the departmental performance improvement program are expected
  • Clinical instruction role: technologists serve as instructors for students enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Part of a large health system operating 65 hospitals and approximately 510 outpatient and additional care sites nationally

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with an associate degree or equivalent — required
  • 1–2 years of interventional or vascular radiology experience preferred
  • Active ARRT registration — required
  • SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association) certification — required
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification — required
  • IV certification — preferred
  • Proficiency with PACS systems expected
