About the Community

Tucson is a vibrant, sun-drenched city of nearly one million residents nestled among four mountain ranges in the Sonoran Desert, offering year-round outdoor recreation including hiking, cycling, and climbing in Saguaro National Park and Mount Lemmon. The city combines a low cost of living relative to other major Arizona metros with a rich cultural scene, a thriving food and arts community, and the University of Arizona — making it an appealing destination for clinicians who want urban amenities without the pace or price tag of Phoenix. Tucson sits approximately 60 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border and roughly 115 miles southeast of Phoenix, providing easy access to both international culture and a major metropolitan hub.
