Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
- No minimum experience required; two or more years in acute care preferred, with prior clinical experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU strongly valued
- Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required within 60 days of hire
- AHA ACLS required within 60 days of hire or transfer for adult critical care, telemetry, and interim critical care unit roles
- AHA PALS required within 60 days of hire or transfer for Pediatric ICU roles
