- Multidisciplinary care model — RNs collaborate directly with physicians and other healthcare providers on individualized plans of care
- Full medication management responsibilities including IV therapy, first-dose monitoring, reconciliation, and critical lab value notification per protocol
- Diagnostic data interpretation and patient intervention across the full spectrum of surgical ICU acuity
- Part of a two-campus health system; sister facility (Fort Mill, opened 2022) includes a 24/7 ED, ICU, Med/Surg unit, Surgical Services, and Women's Services
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required at minimum
- Valid permanent Multi-State RN license from state of residence required; nurses holding a compact license from another state must obtain a Multi-State RN license from their state of residence within 30 days of hire
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire
- American Heart Association ACLS and NIHSS certification required — must be completed within the orientation period for SICU placement
- One year of telemetry experience preferred
- CCRN certification preferred
- Previous clinical experience reviewed individually to determine eligibility
