Fort Mill Medical Center — a brand-new, 100-bed acute care hospital that opened in 2022 in Fort Mill, SC — is recruiting an experienced Echocardiography Technologist to join its cardiovascular diagnostics team. This role offers hands-on scope across the full echo modality spectrum, including transthoracic echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echos, treadmill stress testing, TEE assistance, Holter monitoring, and 12-lead EKGs. The facility is equipped with all-new technology and serves a rapidly growing suburban community just south of Charlotte, NC.

Practice Highlights

  • Full echo modality scope: transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), dobutamine stress echos, treadmill stress testing, and transesophageal echo (TEE) assistance
  • Holter monitor setup and scanning with physician-ready diagnostic tracings
  • 12-lead EKG acquisition with proper lead placement and artifact minimization
  • Responsibility for prioritizing study completion based on patient acuity, preference, and coordination with nursing and ancillary services
  • Critical value identification and reporting as part of active patient safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional training preferred
  • ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS certification required within 1 year of employment
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire
  • 2–5 years of echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience preferred
  • Proficiency across the full echo modality spectrum including TTE, stress echo, TEE assistance, Holter monitoring, and EKG acquisition
