Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas required at time of hire
  • Newly licensed RN within the first six months of professional RN practice — no prior clinical nursing experience required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Additional specialty certifications may be required during the course of employment depending on unit placement
  • Proof of full vaccination or approved religious/medical exemption required prior to start date where mandated by applicable law; regular testing required for approved exemptions
