Practice Highlights
- Medical-Surgical inpatient unit within a community-based acute care hospital in Harlingen, TX
- Direct clinical patient care role with per-shift responsibility for patient assessment, care planning, and implementation
- Accountable for supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated on the unit level

- Coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process within the prescribed medical regimen, with goal of optimum-level discharge

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
- Current, active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
- Recent acute care experience preferred; new graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply
