About the Community
Tucson is Arizona's second-largest city, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sonoran Desert and surrounded by five mountain ranges — offering year-round outdoor recreation including hiking, cycling, and rock climbing in Saguaro National Park and Mount Lemmon. The city combines a low cost of living relative to other major Southwest metros with a vibrant arts and food scene, the University of Arizona, and a warm, sunny climate that draws clinicians seeking an active lifestyle. Tucson's international airport and proximity to Phoenix (roughly 100 miles north) provide convenient connectivity without the pace of a major urban center.
