<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required</li> <li>Completion of a formal Sterile Processing Technician course with field training, OR a minimum of one year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or Operating Technician</li> <li>Preferred: one year of sterile processing technician experience combined with completion of a formal sterile processing course</li> <li>Certification through IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management) or CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) required — must be obtained within 18 months of hire</li> <li>Current IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification preferred at time of application</li> </ul>
