The Department of Psychology at Children's Hospital of Michigan (CHM) in Detroit is recruiting a pediatric neuropsychologist to join an established, multidisciplinary clinical team. This is a full-scope position embedded across outpatient, inpatient, and specialty clinic settings — including epilepsy surgery, concussion, myelomeningocele, NICU follow-up, and cardiology neurodevelopmental programs — making it one of the most clinically diverse pediatric neuropsychology roles available in the Midwest. Practice Highlights

  • Engagement in research or other scholarly activities is expected and supported
  • Multidisciplinary team model with close collaboration across neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, rehabilitation medicine, and psychiatry

Qualifications

  • Psy.D. or Ph.D. in clinical psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited graduate program
  • Completion of an APA-accredited doctoral internship program
  • Completion of a formal two-year postdoctoral fellowship with specialty training in clinical neuropsychology
  • Board certification or board eligibility through ABPP (American Board of Professional Psychology) — specifically in clinical neuropsychology
  • Active licensure as a psychologist, or eligibility to obtain Michigan licensure
  • Demonstrated experience in a medical setting working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Prior teaching and supervisory experience with trainees (externs, interns, residents)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to evaluate and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions
