Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current Texas RN licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required per unit policy
  • ENPC or PALS certification required per unit policy
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
  • Recent acute care experience preferred; emergency department experience a strong asset
