<p>MetroWest Medical Center — a Joint Commission Gold Seal-accredited, two-campus health system in Framingham, Massachusetts — is recruiting a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its Respiratory Care Department at Framingham Union Hospital. This is a full-scope clinical role covering patients of all ages, including neonatal and pediatric populations, within a facility nationally recognized among Healthgrades America's 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention and ranked in the top 5% in the nation for coronary interventional procedures (2023). A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for eligible candidates.</p>

<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-scope respiratory therapy practice covering patients of all ages — adult, pediatric, and neonatal</li> <li>Ventilator management including initiation, continuous positive pressure breathing, weaning protocols, and artificial airway care</li> <li>Chest physical therapy: percussion, vibration, postural drainage, incentive spirometry, and ambulation exercises</li> <li>Clinical diagnostics including bedside spirometry and selected pulmonary function testing</li> <li>Patient assessment, therapy evaluation, and clinical documentation responsibilities</li> <li>Participation in clinical education within the department</li> <li>Framingham Union Hospital offers 24-hour emergency care, advanced cardiac services, high-tech cancer treatment, and advanced maternity care including a Special Care Level IIB nursery and high-risk pregnancy program</li> <li>Sister campus Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick provides behavioral health specialty services, reflecting the system's broad community health mission</li> <li>System has served the greater Framingham community since 1893 with a strong regional referral base</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program required</li> <li>Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRT therapists are strongly encouraged to advance to RRT within 2 years of employment</li> <li>Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license required (or eligibility to obtain)</li> <li>BLS certification required prior to providing direct patient care; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 1 year of employment</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience preferred</li> <li>Previous neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapy experience preferred</li> </ul>
