Practice Highlights

  • 200-bed acute care hospital serving the West Valley communities of the greater Phoenix area
  • Performs general radiographic procedures across all patient age groups, including surgery cases and pain management procedures
  • Requires independent judgment in applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnoses across a variety of technical exams
  • On-call responsibilities included as indicated by departmental needs
  • Operates and maintains radiology equipment including start-up procedures, calibration, quality control, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Participates in evaluation of new procedures, reagents, and equipment
  • Maintains direct communication with radiologists and cardiologists; processes billing and charging through computer systems
  • Advanced facility technology includes the da Vinci Xi robotic surgical platform and the Loop-X intraoperative imaging system
  • Designated Level I Trauma Center with service lines spanning orthopedics, obstetrics, and cardiovascular care

Qualifications

  • Completion of a JRCERT-accredited formal program in Radiologic Technology required
  • Current Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required
  • Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) credential required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Minimum six months of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to understand and exchange information using radiological and medical terminology
  • Ability to perform surgery cases and pain management procedures
