Practice Highlights

  • Full-service, comprehensive acute care facility with recognized service lines in cardiac care, neonatal intensive care (NICU), stroke treatment, and trauma
  • Multidisciplinary team representing most major medical specialties — broad referral base and diverse imaging volume
  • Primary modality: conventional/diagnostic radiography with full operation of all X-ray equipment
  • PACS operation required — integrated digital imaging workflow across the department
  • Proven competency expected in at least one additional modality beyond conventional radiography: CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology (where applicable competencies are met)
  • Fluoroscopy procedures performed; fluoroscopy permit required prior to start
  • Responsible for radiological care across all patient age groups — pediatric through geriatric
  • Scope includes exam room preparation, equipment and supply readiness, medication preparation for procedures, and patient education
  • Reports directly to the Director of Imaging Services or designee
  • Call coverage may be required as part of the role
  • Day shift, variable time schedule; full-time position

Qualifications

  • ARRT(R) — American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography required
  • CRT (California Radiologic Technology certificate) required
  • Fluoroscopy permit required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Working knowledge of conventional radiography required; demonstrated competency in at least one additional modality (CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology) strongly preferred
  • Proof of vaccination status required per applicable federal, state, or local law, or approved religious/medical exemption with agreement to regular testing
