DMC is the largest full-service hospital between Stockton and Fresno — a 394-bed acute care facility with a 67-bed inpatient psychiatric unit — offering a high-acuity critical care environment with exposure to complex cardiac, neurological, and multi-system failure patients. <h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-time night-shift position in the Coronary ICU of a 394-bed acute care hospital with a 67-bed inpatient psychiatric unit</li> <li>High-acuity patient population including multi-system failure, hemodynamically unstable surgical patients, ventilator-dependent patients, and those requiring invasive line and hemodynamic monitoring</li> <li>Complex cardiac rhythm analysis and interpretation with independent nursing action per established protocols and physician orders</li> <li>Advanced pharmacotherapeutics including complex drip calculations based on age, weight, and clinical parameters</li> <li>Neurological assessment responsibilities including comprehensive neuro exams, care of critically injured trauma patients, and patients post-neurosurgical intervention</li> <li>Multidisciplinary, goal-oriented care planning in collaboration with the broader healthcare team</li> <li>Moderate sedation management and restraint protocols per DMC standards</li> <li>Reporting structure to Patient Care Services Director and Shift Manager with clear chain-of-command communication pathways</li> <li>Broad service line environment: cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency and trauma, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, women's and children's services, oncology, behavioral health, and critical/intensive care</li> <li>Regional referral catchment spanning the Central Valley from the Sierras to the San Francisco Bay Area</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Active California RN license required</li> <li>Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required</li> <li>BSN preferred</li> <li>CCRN certification preferred</li> <li>Current BLS and ACLS certification required</li> <li>TCAR certification required</li> <li>National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required</li> <li>Competency in age-specific care across adolescent (13–17), adult (18–70), and geriatric (71+) populations</li> </ul>
