Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Monitor experience or documented EKG course completion required at time of hire
  • One year of experience in acute care, critical care, or emergency department nursing preferred
  • Valid permanent Multi-State RN License from state of residence required; compact-state license holders must obtain a Multi-State RN License from their state of residence within 30 days of hire
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire
  • American Heart Association ACLS and PALS, CPI certification, and NIHSS certification required — all must be completed within the orientation period
  • Emergency nursing certifications preferred: ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
