Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida is recruiting a full-time Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) for its Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This day-shift leadership role places a seasoned RN at the center of clinical education, bedside competency development, and practice excellence within a 333-bed acute care hospital that has served Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for over a century. The CNL functions as the unit's nursing practice expert — coaching preceptors, mentoring new nurses and externs, and closing practice gaps in direct partnership with the Palm Beach Health Network (PBHN) Clinical Education team.

Practice Highlights
- Full-time, day-shift position embedded in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a 333-bed acute care hospital
- Serves as the clinical practice expert for the assigned unit — assessing practice gaps, diagnosing learning needs, and delivering targeted clinical interventions for nursing staff
- Dotted-line reporting to the Director of PBHN Clinical Education, with close collaboration with unit nursing leadership and PBHN Clinical Educators
- Primary clinical resource for new graduate nurses, experienced new-hire RNs, and Nurse Externs; supports preceptors in developing bedside competency
- Ensures alignment between bedside practice and standards of care across Infection Prevention, Patient Safety, and Patient Experience domains
- Works collaboratively across all disciplines to elevate quality of care at the bedside
- Facility features advanced robotic surgical technology including the MAKO and Da Vinci robotic systems for general surgery procedures
- Oncology services anchored by a Commission on Cancer-accredited cancer center and a state-of-the-art Breast Center
- Part of the Palm Beach Health Network, a regional system with broad subspecialty depth and referral volume from Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required (enrollment in a BSN program accepted); Clinical Master's in Nursing or Clinical Education preferred
- Minimum three years of acute hospital-based nursing experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry; prior CNS, Clinical Educator, or supervisory experience preferred
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated ability to coach, teach, and role-model evidence-based clinical practice at the bedside
