About the Community
Worcester is Massachusetts' second-largest city, situated in the geographic heart of New England approximately one hour from Boston and 90 minutes from Providence and Hartford. The city offers a vibrant arts and dining scene, multiple colleges and universities, strong public and private school options, and a cost of living meaningfully lower than the Boston metro. Outdoor recreation — including hiking, skiing, and lake access — is readily available throughout central Massachusetts and the surrounding region, making Worcester an attractive base for clinicians who want urban amenities without the cost or congestion of a major coastal city.
