<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited and approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program; Associate degree required</li> <li>CRTT credential required, verified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); RRT preferred</li> <li>Active South Carolina Respiratory Therapy licensure through the SC Medical Examiner's Office required (or eligibility to obtain)</li> <li>American Heart Association BLS/CPR required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire</li> <li>AHA PALS and ACLS certifications required within the orientation period</li> <li>NRP certification required for therapists assigned to NICU coverage</li> <li>2–5 years of job-related respiratory therapy experience preferred</li> </ul>
