West Boca Medical Center is recruiting a Florida-licensed Paramedic for per diem night-shift coverage across its two emergency centers — the main hospital campus in Boca Raton and the satellite Emergency Center in Coconut Creek. This is a hands-on clinical role embedded within a full-service acute care hospital that has served southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for more than 37 years, offering a broad acuity mix and access to advanced technology including a robotic surgery program and the only Level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; completion of an accredited Paramedic program required
  • Active State of Florida Paramedic License required
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Healthy Interventions certification required within three months of hire
  • Minimum one year of experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred
  • Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication abilities
