- Direct clinical patient care with per-shift accountability for assessment, care planning, and implementation across assigned patients

- Supervision and delegation of care to appropriate support staff on the unit
- Practice governed by established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control protocols
- Accountable to the CNO for quality, safety, clinical staff competency, and appropriate resource utilization
- Participation in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies and disaster events

Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved or accredited school of nursing — required
- Current Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain); must meet all state law and regulatory requirements for practice
- Current CPR certification — required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) — preferred
- Comfort with behavioral health patient population and inpatient psychiatric nursing acuity
