DMC Medical Group is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse to support a busy Family Medicine and OBGYN outpatient practice in the greater Detroit, Michigan area. This clinic-based RN role sits within a well-established primary and specialty care network that has partnered with the Detroit Medical Center — a system with more than 150 years of medical excellence serving metropolitan Detroit and southeastern Michigan. The position offers a stable, Monday-through-Friday ambulatory environment with a clinically rich scope spanning adult primary care, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology.

Practice Highlights
- Outpatient physician office setting serving Family Medicine and OBGYN patient panels
- Patient population spans adult, pediatric, and obstetric/gynecologic care
- Core clinical duties: patient triage, vital signs, blood pressure, medication reconciliation, chief complaint assessment, and provider-directed testing
- Administration and management of adult and pediatric vaccines and immunizations
- Phlebotomy, lab specimen collection and preparation, lab form completion, and computer entry for transport
- Medication administration including oral medications, intramuscular (IM), and subcutaneous (SQ) injections
- Physician assistance during office visits, procedures, and exams; equipment preparation and procedure support
- Patient education, discharge instructions, and triage of emergent presentations with immediate provider notification
- Quality measure tracking, reporting, and outcomes data compilation
- Documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system; chart review to support accurate coding and reimbursement
- Participation in staff training, in-service education, and development of patient care protocols and education materials
- Part of DMC Medical Group — a broad network of primary and specialty care providers across greater Detroit and southeastern Michigan, affiliated with the Detroit Medical Center
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Completion of an accredited nursing program; high school diploma or GED required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physician office or outpatient healthcare setting
- Experience in family medicine, pediatrics, and/or OBGYN strongly preferred
- Proof of vaccination or approved religious/medical exemption required prior to start date, per applicable federal, state, and local law; exempted employees are subject to regular testing per regulatory requirements
