This is a full-time, day-shift position with a Monday–Friday core schedule, STEMI call coverage, and a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 based on experience. The Cath Lab RN rotates through scrub, monitor, and circulator roles, supporting the full spectrum of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures under direct cardiologist supervision.

Practice Highlights
- Day shift: 0730–1530, Monday through Friday; STEMI call required with some weekend call shifts
- Full rotation through all Cath Lab roles: scrub, monitor, and circulator
- Assists with cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures including invasive cardiovascular and peripheral vascular studies under direct cardiologist/interventionalist supervision
- Operates hemodynamic monitoring devices with responsibility for accurate procedural documentation
- Performs Point of Care testing and administers cardiovascular medications with ongoing efficacy reassessment
- Maintains rigorous aseptic and sterile technique throughout the Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) environment
- Participates in orientation of new staff and students; functions as a clinical resource for physicians, staff, and visitors
- Part of Desert Care Network — a three-hospital system that includes a Level 1 Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke program, cancer center, and the only Level 3 NICU in the Coachella Valley
- Reports to the Cath Lab Director in conjunction with the Cath Lab Medical Director
Qualifications
- Active California RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum five years of healthcare experience; five years of Cath Lab scrub experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular patient care, cardiovascular pharmacology, and invasive cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served
- BSN preferred; RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred
