Qualifications
- Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal phlebotomy program preferred
- Minimum experience: one year of laboratory experience and/or completion of a formal phlebotomy training program
- Basic laboratory computer or laboratory information system (LIS) experience preferred
- Phlebotomy certification required where mandated by state law
- Preferred certification: national phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT, or a comparable accrediting body
- Participation in E-Verify employment eligibility verification is required
