Practice Highlights
- Direct clinical nursing care in the Endoscopy unit — assessment, planning, and implementation of care on a per-shift and unit level
- Responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process
- Supervision and delegation of care to appropriate support staff within the unit
- Practice governed by established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control
- Accountable to the CNO for high-quality, safe nursing care; clinical staff competency; and appropriate resource management
- Participation in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergency and disaster situations

Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved or accredited school of nursing — required
- Current, active Massachusetts RN license (or eligibility to obtain) — required
- Current CPR certification — required
- Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing — preferred
- Familiarity with hospital emergency codes, HICS structure, and associated policies and procedures
