Qualifications
- Graduate of a certificate, degree-granting, or post-secondary educational program in a health science discipline (required); formal cardiovascular technology training preferred
- Minimum one year of healthcare experience required; one year of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience preferred
- Required to schedule and pass the Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) examination through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or equivalent accredited agency within one year of hire date
- Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (American Red Cross or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the role
