<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature in an active interventional Cath Lab setting</li> <li>Provides direct physician assistance during all catheterization and electrophysiology procedures</li> <li>Patient population spans adolescents through geriatrics, requiring broad clinical adaptability</li> <li>Active training and mentorship role: responsible for orienting and developing Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel</li> <li>Part of a large integrated health system encompassing six full-service hospitals, a specialized children's hospital with a dedicated pediatric emergency unit, a comprehensive cancer care network, imaging centers, fitness and rehabilitation centers, and ambulatory services</li> <li>Faith-inspired, community-focused mission with more than 120 years of continuous service in the San Antonio region</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of a certificate, degree-granting, or post-secondary educational program in a health science field (or equivalent education)</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of interventional Cath Lab experience <em>or</em> 2 years of Electrophysiology experience required</li> <li>Required certification: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) <em>or</em> Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)</li> <li>Preferred certification: Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT)</li> <li>Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire</li> <li>AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the role</li> </ul>
