Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program; active Florida RN license required
- BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association — required at hire

- NIH Stroke Certification — required within 60 days of hire or transfer
- PALS — required within 90 days of hire or transfer
- Basic EKG, Critical Care Course, and Trauma Course — required within 6 months of hire for inexperienced RNs
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) — required within 18 months of hire or transfer
- No minimum prior experience required; structured certification pathway supports new-to-specialty nurses
