About the Community
Memphis sits on the eastern bank of the Mississippi River in the southwest corner of Tennessee — a city with a nationally recognized cultural identity built around blues music, world-class barbecue, and a deep arts and entertainment scene anchored by Beale Street. The cost of living is well below the national average, neighborhoods offer a wide range of housing options, and the metro area provides access to strong public and private school systems. Outdoor recreation along the Mississippi, proximity to the Shelby Farms greenway system, and easy access to the broader Mid-South region make Memphis a compelling destination for clinicians who want urban amenities without the price tag of a coastal market.
