Delray Medical Center — a 536-bed, state-designated Level I Trauma Center in Delray Beach, Florida — is recruiting a credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a Per Diem, Days position. This is a high-acuity, full-service acute care environment where respiratory therapy spans the ICU, trauma, cardiac, neuro, and rehabilitation service lines. New graduates are welcome; the department will train candidates who hold the required credentials.

- Respiratory care scope includes: initiation and monitoring of continuous mechanical ventilation, noninvasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP), prescribed medical gas and aerosol therapy, pulse oximetry for oxygen titration, aerosolized medication administration, sputum inductions, chest physiotherapy, and arterial blood gas sampling and analysis

Qualifications
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active Florida Respiratory Therapist license required (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum: Associate's Degree from an AMA-accredited respiratory therapist program; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Two years of vocational training in respiratory therapy accepted; new graduates will be considered
- EKG, EEG, and Holter monitoring skills preferred
