About the Community

Port Saint Lucie sits along Florida's Treasure Coast, a stretch of Atlantic coastline known for its uncrowded beaches, warm year-round climate, and relaxed quality of life. The area offers a lower cost of living compared to South Florida metros while remaining within comfortable driving distance of West Palm Beach and Orlando, making it an attractive destination for clinicians seeking coastal living without the congestion of a major urban center. Outdoor recreation — boating, fishing, golf, and nature preserves — is abundant, and the region's steady population growth is driving significant investment in healthcare infrastructure, of which Florida Coast Medical Center is a centerpiece.
