The Hospitals of Providence – Memorial Campus in El Paso, Texas is recruiting a full-time Charge Nurse (RN) for its Intensive Care Unit, working the night shift. Practice Highlights

  • Full-time night shift position in the ICU at a high-acuity acute care campus
  • Charge RN role combining direct bedside patient care with unit-level supervisory responsibility each shift
  • Accountable for supervision and appropriate delegation of care to unit staff
  • Supports the CNO in maintaining high-quality, safe nursing care and clinical staff competency
  • Responsible for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process, including assessment, planning, and implementation

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Minimum one year of RN experience required (for PRN status); recent acute care experience preferred
  • Active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain required
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required as applicable per unit policy
  • Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by Texas law and regulation
