Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Sunnyvale is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at this 70-bed community hospital in Sunnyvale, TX. This is a direct patient care role with accountability across the full nursing process — assessment, planning, implementation, and coordination — in a specialty unit that sits at the intersection of cardiac intervention and high-acuity procedural care. Practice Highlights

  • Goal-oriented discharge planning with focus on optimum patient outcomes within the prescribed medical regimen

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a state-approved or accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain) required
  • Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required per corporate policy for this unit of hire
  • PALS and/or NRP may be required depending on unit-specific corporate policy
  • Recent acute care experience preferred; Cath Lab or procedural/interventional nursing background is advantageous given the specialty unit context
