Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear, Arizona is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse for its Cardiac unit at a 200-bed acute care hospital recognized for advanced cardiovascular, surgical, and trauma services in the West Valley. Practice Highlights

  • 200-bed acute care hospital with a full cardiovascular service line, orthopedics, obstetrics, and a Level I Trauma Center

  • Cardiac unit RN provides individualized, age-specific, direct bedside nursing care guided by the nursing process
  • Coordinates interdisciplinary care planning across the care continuum, including discharge planning from admission
  • Acts in a supervisory capacity as needed — assessing, planning, delegating, and directing other healthcare team members during assigned shifts
  • Participates in hourly rounding and ongoing quality and safety monitoring
  • Eligible to serve as charge nurse for designated shifts
  • ACLS required upon completion of orientation for Cardiac unit nurses
  • Serves West Valley communities with a regional referral base across the greater Goodyear/Phoenix metropolitan area

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona required
  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
  • Current CPR certification required; ACLS required upon orientation completion for Cardiac unit placement
  • Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience preferred; certification in a cardiac or relevant specialty area of practice preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills; ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Basic computer proficiency required
