Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California is seeking a per diem Neuro Tech (Neurodiagnostic Technologist) to perform a full range of neurological diagnostic procedures within a high-acuity regional medical center. Desert Regional anchors the Desert Care Network — a three-hospital system serving the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin — and operates a Level 1 Trauma Center, a comprehensive stroke program, a cancer center, and the only Level 3 NICU in the Coachella Valley. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time experience performing neurological/neurodiagnostic procedures required
  • 2 years of full-time experience performing advanced neurodiagnostic procedures in an acute-level facility preferred
  • Registered EEG Technician (R. EEG T.) credential or eligibility for registration preferred
  • Demonstrated competency across routine EEG, complex EEG, auditory and sensory evoked potentials, and polysomnography
  • Ability to determine appropriate activation and recording techniques based on patient symptoms, referral requests, and departmental protocols
