Practice Highlights
- 217-bed acute care hospital with established service lines in cardiovascular care, orthopedics, obstetrics, and emergency medicine
- Performs venipuncture and phlebotomy across inpatient and outpatient populations
- Specimen receipt, registration, distribution, and billing functions integral to daily workflow

Qualifications
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a laboratory or medical-related field from an accredited institution preferred
- Minimum experience: 1 year of laboratory experience and/or completion of a formal phlebotomy training program
- Phlebotomy certification required where mandated by Arizona state law; national phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT, or equivalent preferred
- Basic laboratory computer and laboratory information system (LIS) experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in specimen handling, pre-analytical variable awareness, medical terminology, and laboratory measurements
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills suited to a high-volume, multi-priority clinical laboratory
