<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li><strong>Required education:</strong> High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li><strong>Required experience:</strong> Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience and/or completion of a formal phlebotomy training program</li> <li><strong>Required certification:</strong> Phlebotomy certification where mandated by Massachusetts state law</li> <li><strong>Preferred education:</strong> Formal phlebotomy program completion</li> <li><strong>Preferred experience:</strong> Basic laboratory computer skills and/or laboratory information system (LIS) experience, in addition to the above</li> <li><strong>Preferred certification:</strong> National phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT, or a comparable accrediting body</li> </ul>
