- Fast-paced environment with periods of elevated acuity; independent clinical judgment expected in directing other healthcare team members
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona required
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
- CPR certification required; ACLS required or must be obtained within six months of hire
- PALS preferred for PACU placement
- Minimum one year of acute care experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Specialty certification in PACU or perioperative nursing preferred
- Effective interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation, and basic computer proficiency required
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment with periods of above-average clinical pressure
