Practice Highlights

Qualifications
- Minimum education: Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology; any combination of education and experience recognized by the State of Florida for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist is considered
- Active Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license, or eligibility to obtain
- 1–5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist rotating through technical areas or sections in an acute care hospital laboratory
- Proficiency with both automated and manual laboratory procedures across multiple disciplines
- Must successfully pass a color blindness test prior to employment
- Adherence to the legal scope of practice as defined by the Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel, State of Florida
