- Multidisciplinary care model: RNs coordinate with physicians, APPs, and ancillary team members in planning and managing patient care

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
- Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) — ARC or AHA — required on hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required within 60 days if not already AHA-certified
- AHA ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer into the Telemetry role; completion before end of orientation period is strongly preferred
- No prior experience required; previous acute care experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU is preferred
- Comfort with telemetry monitoring, medication calculation and administration, and management of patients with cardiac and multi-system conditions
