<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred</li> <li>Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire</li> <li>Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) — ARC or AHA — required on hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required within 60 days if not already AHA-certified</li> <li>AHA ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer into the Telemetry role; completion before end of orientation period is strongly preferred</li> <li>No prior experience required; previous acute care experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU is preferred</li> <li>Comfort with telemetry monitoring, medication calculation and administration, and management of patients with cardiac and multi-system conditions</li> </ul>
